Your data is processed on the basis of the consents you provide when you register for and use the Service.

Data provided by you about third parties is processed on the basis of Legitimate Interest.

What type of data do we collect?

We collect information you voluntarily provide to us, including your full name, mobile number, location information, diagnostic data, device information, and mobile contacts. We also retain details of any customer support queries you submit, as well as logs of your visits to the Service, including IP addresses, activity records, and messages you send.

How will my data be used?

2go uses your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. Your data will never be sold, rented, or disclosed to any third party unless you have expressly consented to such disclosure.

Third-party data provided by you through the "Tell a Friend" or "Recommendation" features will be used exclusively for the provision of those features.

How long will my data be kept?

We will retain your personal data until you or we delete your profile. Following deletion, your data will be archived for a further three (3) years and then permanently erased. Please refer to Section 8 below for full details on data retention and deletion.

Security

2go is committed to protecting the security of your personal data. In addition to the security measures applied to our core systems, your data is encrypted during transmission over the Internet. Your password is not stored in plaintext; it is processed using a one-way hashing algorithm, meaning it cannot be recovered or disclosed by anyone — including 2go — and can only be reset.

To protect the confidentiality of your personal data, you must keep your password confidential and not disclose it to any other person.

Full Privacy Policy

2go treats both your security and the security of your personal data with the highest regard. Our objective is to provide users with a safe, secure, and private environment in which to communicate and interact with other users of the Service.

This Privacy Policy sets out how we collect, store, use, and protect your data. Please read it in conjunction with our Terms of Use, as together they form the basis of our agreement with you. If you do not accept both this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, you may not use the Service.

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing a revised version on the Service. You are advised to review both the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy each time you access the Service. Your continued use of the Service following the publication of any amendments constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

1. Information Collected

We collect information you voluntarily provide when you create and maintain your profile, including personally identifiable information such as your name and email address. This information is stored on our systems. No personal contact information is displayed in your public profile or included in any communication we may send to other users.

If you choose to pay for the Service by card, you will be required to provide payment card details. This information is transmitted directly to our payment provider via a secure connection. At no point will your card number be known to, or retained by, 2go.

We also collect and retain details of your visits to the Service, including but not limited to: IP addresses, web logs of your activity, connection information (including the URL of any service from which you arrived), details of any messages you send and receive, and records of customer support queries and correspondence.

All of the foregoing is collectively referred to as "personal data".

3. Control & Disclosure of Personal Data

By registering for the Service, you agree that 2go may disclose your data (including personal data) in accordance with any consents you actively provide.

Except as otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, or as you separately and expressly agree, 2go will be the sole controller of any personal data you provide while using the Service.

Access to your account and the Service is protected by your username and password. To safeguard the confidentiality of your personal data, you must keep your password confidential and must not disclose it to any other person.

Your password is not stored in plaintext. It is processed using a one-way hashing algorithm, meaning it cannot be recovered or disclosed by anyone — including 2go — and can only be reset. Please notify us immediately if you believe your password has been compromised.

7. Cookies & IP Addresses

When you visit the Service, we may place a cookie on your device. A cookie is a small file stored on your device for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies for the following purposes:

Cookies cannot be used on their own to identify you personally. You are not obliged to accept cookies and may configure your browser to reject them. However, doing so may limit your ability to use certain features of the Service, including the login process.

8. Data Retention & Deletion

You may hide your profile at any time, which will remove it from public view. You may also permanently delete your profile at any time, as described below.

For as long as you remain an active user of the Service, it is your responsibility to delete your profile or request that we do so when you no longer wish to use the Service. If we are no longer able to contact you via the email address you have provided, we reserve the right to delete your profile without further notice. Additionally, if you do not log in to your account for seven (7) years, we will assume you no longer wish to use the Service and your profile will be deleted.

9. No Spam Policy

We will not send you spam. While you remain an active user, you will receive essential Service-related communications and may receive messages from other users via the Service. You may control most of these communications through the settings page of your profile. To opt out of all Service-related emails, you must delete your profile.

Unless you expressly authorise us to do so, we will never supply, sell, or rent your email address to any third party.

Our "Tell a Friend" and "Recommendation" features will never result in unsolicited email being sent to your contacts. A single notification will be sent at your request; no further communication will be sent unless the recipient chooses to register for the Service independently.

10. Social Network Sign-In

We offer the option to register or log in using third-party social network accounts (e.g. Facebook). This functionality is provided solely to expedite the registration process. No posts, references, or notifications will be published to your social network account or timeline as a result of using this feature.

2go is committed to protecting the security of your personal data. While we take reasonable precautions to safeguard the information we collect, no security system is impenetrable.

We maintain a range of technical and organisational measures to help prevent the loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of your information. These measures include:

In the event of a security breach, we are legally obligated to notify the relevant authorities within seventy-two (72) hours and will endeavour to resolve the matter as promptly as possible. However, we cannot accept responsibility for personal data that is lost or compromised as a result of a security breach.

12. Your Rights

You have the right to object to our use of your personal data, or to request that we erase, remove, or cease using it where there is no longer a legitimate need for us to retain it (commonly known as the "right to be forgotten").

Your data will ordinarily be erased in accordance with the retention periods set out in Section 8 above. If you wish to request earlier deletion, please contact our support team.

Where you have contravened our Terms of Use, we reserve the right to retain and process your data on the basis of Legitimate Interest in order to protect other users and to assist with the prevention and detection of fraud and other unlawful activities.

You may view, edit, or delete your personal data at any time by editing your profile. You also have the right to request that we do not process your personal data for marketing purposes, which you may exercise through the settings page of your profile.
